摘要: The paper discusses development trends of bioenergy production and use in Latvia. A methodology for the assessment biomass potential was developed applied to a Latvian case study. Four scenarios were built analyse supply energy needs costs. resources considered are forestry residues by- products, crops, agricultural residues. evaluation is performed on basis historical data analysis literature review applying indicators with sufficient levels information aggregation adequacy. Future patterns assessed from technological, ecological environmental points view. focuses currently initiated cogeneration plant boiler house projects (planned be finished two years' time) maximum available country. indicates range 25- 30 TWh per year 2020, which circa 15 used 2011.
