摘要: Heparin has been recognized as a valuable anticoagulant and antithrombotic for several decades is still widely used in clinical practice variety of indications. The activity heparin mainly attributable to the action specific pentasaccharide sequence that acts concert with antithrombin, plasma coagulation factor inhibitor. This observation led development synthetic mimetics use. However, it increasingly many other pharmacological properties, including but not limited antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antimetastatic actions. Many these activities are independent its activity, although mechanisms currently less well defined. Nonetheless, being exploited uses beyond anticoagulation developed wide range disorders. article provides "state art" review our current understanding pharmacology related drugs an overview status such drugs.
