摘要: The paper presents a methodology to quantify the benefits, in terms of monetary values, FACTS devices when used deregulated electricity market for congestion management. proposed is proposal investment recovery devices. Despite long history development and mature technology, practical installations are still limited. main reasons few high cost lack viable measures list benefits offered by device. In this respect, provides promising solution. based on establishing pricing schemes with without using OPF formulation. volume increase surplus due them forms basis quantifying their benefits. scheme does not destroy incentive effect short run also makes possible provision merchant FACTS. concept was tested validated TCSC five-bus test system. Result shows that, relieve system can be recovered.
