Predictive factors for neck and shoulder pain: a longitudinal study in young adults.

摘要: Study design A longitudinal study. Objectives To estimate the prevalence and incidence of neck shoulder pain in young adults to identify associated predictive factors based on 7-year follow-up. Summary background data Several work-related, psychosocial, sociodemographic have been verified as being related adult populations, but far fewer studies concerning topic carried out populations. Methods random sample 826 high school students was investigated when they were 15 18 years old again at 22 25 age. Altogether, 394 (48%) patients participated both surveys. The outcome variable weekly during past 6 months adulthood, explanatory variables included some factors, leisure time activities, self-assessed physical condition, psychosomatic stress symptoms, symptoms fatigue sleep difficulties. Results In 7 years, increased from 17% 28%. Among those who asymptomatic baseline, 6-month occasional or 59% later. an adjusted model, remained factor for prevalent later females males. females, adolescence with sports loading dynamically upper extremities a low separate analyses incident pain, predicted adulthood. Conclusions adults, is high, are already multifactorial population.
