摘要: In this paper, we propose a lexical routing metric to enable path-wise link quality-aware in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The realization of is achieved by applying the indexing techniques formal language processing multi-metric route classification and cost evaluation for WSNs. particular, motivated from fact that IEEE 802.15.4 networks are formed on links with highly variable quality, selection poor quality degrades data delivery considerably. Although supports link-level awareness through LQI, (a) it remains unbeknownst at path level, therefore, (b) its link-local scope. We LABILE, composite metric, implemented modifying RREQ RREP structures AODV capture convey two-state information destination which turn processed an easy compute lexicon corresponding algorithm case availability multiple paths. Multiple paths represented space proposed model encompasses hop-count, weak quantity weakness factor each link, depending upon thresholding mechanism declares be either healthy (aka usable) or unusable). Using factor, success probability over turns out fraction link. mathematical along experiments done LABILE show parsing scheme together achieve robustness consistently evading failures, as number fairly reduced compared hop-count-based metric. Increased obtained preventing retransmissions failure-prone links.
