摘要: An autopsy case of carcinosarcoma the liver producing granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) is reported. The patient, a 74-year-old Japanese man, presented with multiple masses. His serum G-CSF was elevated to 286 pg/mL and marked leukocytosis 19 100/microL observed. patient had rapidly aggravated clinical course died 57 days after admission. Autopsy revealed composed both hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) sarcomatous elements immunoreactive alpha-smooth muscle actin desmin. Immunohistochemistry positive staining in cytoplasm HCC, whereas none spindle cells positively stained. Production also confirmed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, using frozen tumor tissue taken at autopsy. Similar majority G-CSF-producing tumors literature, only epithelial present were immunopositive for G-CSF. Although monoclonal origin carcinosarcomas has generally been proposed, heterologous differentiation from single clone might lead production element case. It suggested that associated high-grade transformation elements, as well reported phenomenon conventional HCC
