摘要: Background: Detection of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in the peripheral blood patients with primary breast cancer is associated poor clinical outcome. Recent studies have found evidence for immunological influence on cell dormancy. We therefore investigated relationship between T-cells and CTCs, as factors may contribute to fate CTCs. Materials Methods: The immune status 116 was analyzed by flow cytometry. Results were correlated presence CTCs clinicopathological parameters these patients. Results: Appearance significantly grade III tumors (p<0.05). Interestingly, CTC-positive presented a significant increase CD95(FAS)-positive T-helper cells. As response regulated CD95(APO-1/FAS)-CD95ligand interaction induce apoptosis via CD95/CD95L (ligand) pathway, this might lead escape apoptotic Conclusion: Absence T-cell help at time priming result loss long-term antigen- activation CD8 lymphocytes could an ineffective anti-tumor response. This systemic immunosuppression open door In cancer, it has been demonstrated that first diagnosis reduced disease-free overall survival (1). Years after diagnosis, persistent dormant return active state initiate metastatic replapse. However, mechanisms which disease are not fully-understood. Besides genetic predisposition (2, 3) angiogenesis (4, 5), trigger (6-8) also discussed. Immunosurveillance impaired functional impairment T-cells, extend into microenvironment can be seen (PBLs) (9, 10). aim study analyze effect quantitative distribution subsets order offer further insight possible tumor-induced suppression.
