摘要: Gliomas are complex and heterogeneous tumors that originate from the glial cells of brain. The malignant undergo deep modifications their metabolism, acquire capacity to invade brain parenchyma induce epigenetic in other cell types. In spite efforts made define pathology at molecular level, set novel approaches reach infiltrating cells, gliomas still fatal. order gain a better knowledge cellular events accompany astrocyte transformation, we developed three increasingly transformed lines, starting primary rat cortical astrocytes, analyzed them cytogenetic level. parallel, also studied expression differentiation-related H1.0 linker histone variant evaluate its possible modification relation with transformation. We found most modified astrocytes (A-FC6) have chromosomal alterations typical cancer, two clones (A-GS1 A-VV5) intermediate properties. Surprisingly, differentiation-specific somatic steadily increases normal ones. As whole, our results suggest these together constitute potential model for studying glioma development.
