摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses computer-based spelling remediation for dyslexic children using the SelfSpell environment. Dyslexic typically have greater problems in learning to spell than read. Spelling appear more resistant reading problems. The presents an overview of hypermedia environment support, which represents a new and promising approach this previously intractable problem. It highlights two evaluation studies, demonstrating that can be effective fun. first study involved child-centered rule-based spellings with adolescent children, second compared efficacy rule based mastery approaches younger who had made little or no progress spelling.
