摘要: The digitization of the 3D shape real objects is a rapidly expanding field, with applications in entertainment, design, and archaeology. We propose new model acquisition system that permits user to rotate an object by hand see continuously-updated as scanned. This tight feedback loop allows find fill holes time, determine when has been completely covered. Our based on 60 Hz. structured-light rangefinder, real-time variant ICP (iterative closest points) for alignment, point-based merging rendering algorithms. demonstrate ability our prototype scan faster greater ease than conventional pipelines.
