摘要: The transport and metabolism of diphenhydramine was studied in vitro the isolated rabbit choroid plexus vivo New Zealand white rabbits Sprague-Dawley rats. In vitro, [14C] accumulated by a saturable, energy-requiring system plexus. vivo, 20 min after intraventricular injection into rabbits, [14C]diphenhydramine cleared from cerebrospinal fluid much more rapidly than [3H]sucrose, molecule transported central nervous simple diffusion. employing situ rat brain perfusion technique, cerebral as [14C]diazepam. However, clearance [14C]diphenhydramine, but not [14C]diazepam, inhibited addition 10 mM unlabeled to perfusate. These results show that diphenhydramine, unlike diazepam, is between blood, fluid, part, carrier-mediated processes at both blood-brain blood-cerebrospinal barriers.
