摘要: With the recent technical advances in molecular biology, chloroplast DNA (cpDNA) has become a marker used for study of cytoplasmic differentiation natural populations plants. As chloroplasts are maternally inherited most plant species, seed component gene flow is thus made accessible. We present here cpDNA polymorphism within maritima subspecies gynodioecious Beta vulgaris which we try to assess impact such reproductive system on flow. One hundred and eighty-eight wild beets were sampled from 20 hermaphroditic (i.e. containing both female plants) Atlantic coast Europe. variability these was characterized with rapid restriction fragment length (RFLP) method. Eight haplotypes found. Strong among observed (FST = 0.43) consistent isolation by distance, although ubiquitous. Gynodioecy seems affect distribution diversity: ssp. contained greater number types but less differentiated themselves than ones.
