Calos, ed., Gene Transfer Vectors Mammalian Cells, 1987). used this to determine rates defined mutations replicating by using spleen necrosis virus-based vector. determined rate base pair substitution during avian is 2 x 10(-5) per insertion 10(-7) cycle. It will be possible use other retroviruses.
