摘要: The aim of the present study was to investigate morphological changes and proliferative activities in epithelium canine oviduct with regard part - possibly indicating existence a locally restricted sperm reservoir stage oestrous cycle. Nine healthy adult nulliparous bitches were submitted ovariohysterectomy at three stages cycle: anoestrus (n = 3), late follicular phase 3) mid-luteal 3). whole ranging from utero-tubal junction (UTJ) infundibulum (IN) collected, divided into UTJ, IN plus six segments equal length, i.e. eight oviductal specimens per animal studied by light microscopy. Morphological characteristics ovaries endometrium recorded macroscopically verified histologically. height epithelial cells percentage ciliated (CC) assessed respective data analysed statistically. Proliferative activity immunohistochemically visualized means Ki-67 antigen detection. Blood collected concentrations oestradiol-17beta progesterone (P(4)) measured. Within five tissue samples ampulla isthmus anoestrous bitches, surface consisted low cuboidal demonstrating uniform dark staining intensity. Only very few scattered lighter CC could be detected. Under influence oestrogens during phase, highly differentiated. Lighter stained apically located nuclei easily distinguishable basophilic secretory apical cytoplasmic protrusions. Cell significantly higher than (p
