摘要: Propolis is a resinous hive product collected by honeybees from plant sources. The composition of the propolis depends on season, vegetation, and area collection. It presents diverse biological activities such as antimicrobial, antioxidant antitumoral. seasonal variability red constituents Pernambuco State were accomplished in months February, June October 2006. volatile constituients captured dynamic headspace technique analyzed GC-MS. In analysis samples, 34 identified mono sesquiterpens, phenylpropanoids, aldehydes, cetons n-alcanes, presenting majority trans-anethol, α-copaene methyl cis-isoeugenol. phytochemistry profile was performed thin layer chromatography (TLC). Through this phenols. Brine shrimp bioassay used to evaluate methanolic extract, which demonstrated DL50 18.9 µg/mL an activity antitumoral possibly suggested.
