摘要: Parvalbumin (PV)- and calbindin (CaBP)-immunostaining in the hippocampal formation of 3-, 11- 28-month-old Wistar rats was studied using monoclonal antibodies. A quantitative analysis densities, cross-sectional areas, length number processes PV-immunoreactive neurons dentata CA1 areas three age groups employed. Marked age-related changes morphological appearance parameters characterizing both regions were observed. The intensity CaBP-immunostaining principle cells interneurons remained same but immunoreactive fibers structurally altered aging.
