摘要: Background: Ethanol ingestion may disturb fat digestion and absorption by affecting gastric, intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic functions. Involved mechanisms are not well understood. We examined in vitro ethanol effects on gastric lipolytic activity. Methods: Human juice, pure lipase, colipase, carboxyl ester phospholipase A2, duodenal contents were a) preincubated at 37°C with (0–30%) then assayed under normal conditions (pH-stat titration), or b) the presence of various concentrations (0–30%). Results: reduced activities a dose-dependent manner. The effect was more pronounced alcohol present assay medium, 5% reducing lipase activity 10%, 20%, 46%. Colipase A2 only slightly affected ethanol. Conclusions: Observed ethan...
