摘要: Establishment of monolayer cell-cultures from adult normal rat liver is described using cells isolated by a collagenase-hyaluronidase perfusion technique. The plated originally were polygonal in shape and contained large number mitochondria. However, with less granules also observed the primary culture, after few days plating. In subsequent subcultures, latter type could be grown continuously. After an initial lag, attained doubling time 55 hours plating efficiency 20%. are “normal” respect to their karyology, morphology growth pattern. Difficulties encountered during culture possible uses these cultured studies on carcinogenesis vitro discussed.
