摘要: Abstract New evidence has supported a growing consensus that the chromatin of mitotic chromosomes is organized into loop domains through interactions with non-histone proteins. The most abundant protein, DNA topoisomerase II, required for chromosome condensation. In contrast, several other putative structural components in scaffold fraction have been shown not to be chromosomal after all.
