摘要: Abstract Dark-induced senescence in the leaves of Pelargonium cuttings was manifested chlorophyll breakdown, and an increase reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels followed by a subsequent induction two senescence-associated gene (SAG) transcripts: senescence-related transcription factor PeWRKY6-1 cystein protease homolog PeSAG12-1. Glutathione applied at onset ROS increase, reduced accumulation prevented PeSAG12-1 expression. These results suggest that darkness maybe are induced increases levels. Since expression increased concomitantly with PeSAG12-1, it most likely does not function as inducer. Application gibberellic acid (GA3) to before dark treatment accumulation. GA3 also decreased when during period accumulation, but after high were evident. The pattern suppression positively correlated its inhibitory effect on breakdown. However, application inhibited expressions, despite tissue. Taken together, our acts inhibit leaf Pelargonium, probably only reducing levels, interfering regulation, through yet unknown mechanism.
