摘要: Plant derived natural products and phytocompounds are known for their broad spectrum biological activities of great therapeutic value in traditional system medicine. The role medicinal plants the treatment various diseases including bacterial infection widely documented. Anti-infective compounds from may provide new drug leads. Bacterial cell to communication has been become attractive target development novel anti-infective measures that do not rely on use antibiotics. Targeting Quorum sensing emerge as promising strategy combat infections it is unlikely develop multidrug resistance pathogens since does impose any selection pressure. In this review, we have surveyed recent literature available plant extracts, essential oils exhibiting anti-quorum properties. Further, significance caused by MDR bacteria discussed.
