摘要: This paper discusses the definition and validation of an upgraded model slider-reefed parafoil inflation. Unlike early version which focused only on slider-descent phase, this improved incorporates dynamics all-important slider-up phase precedes slider-descent. The is “dynamical” in that it involves a physical description cell inflation process corresponding parachute drag area expansion. upgrade also detailed enough to require over 15 input parameters describing deployment conditions, canopy dimensions, most importantly, slider dimensions characteristics. simulation outputs not include evolutions force parachute-payload descent rate, but actual duration stage. can be applied both sail-slider pilot chutecontrolled configurations, sliders are physically temporarily attached wing during phases It will shown simulations accurate for canopy-slider designs have been “tuned” reduce surging.
