摘要: There is a very delicate relation between the amounts of all ingredients present in cement composition and properties product. In this study, homogeneous poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) microspheres were prepared by suspension polymerization technique, used formulations. Various acrylic cements with different compositions using PMMA microspheres, methyl methacrylate (MMA) monomer, radiopaque agent barium sulfate (BaSO4), inorganic particles hydroxyapatite (HA), initiator chain stopping 1-dodecyl mercaptan (DDM). The effects these additives on mechanical thermal resultant examined. Addition 8% HA relative to solid parts caused an increase both tensile compressive strengths from 20.40 25.20 MPa, 84.04 89.57 respectively, while curing temperature was decreased about 3 degrees. Chain DDM sharp decrease 30 degrees temperature. Radiopaque inverse effect properties. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci,
