摘要: ABSTRACT Increased oxidative stress induces inflammation to several tissues/organs leading cell death and long-term injury. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, autophagic regulatory functions has been widely used as preventive or therapeutic strategy in modern medicine. Oxidative have reported contribute cigarette smoke–induced lung inflammation, hepatotoxicity, sympathetic activation–induced liver lipopolysaccharide-induced renal substance P–mediated neurogenic hyperactive bladder based on clinical findings. In this review, we introduce evidences for TCM treatment including Monascus adlay (MA) produced by inoculating ( Cois lachrymal-jobi L. var. ma-yuen Stapf) purpureus injury, Amla Emblica officinalis Gaertn. of Euphorbiaceae family) hepatotoxin-induced Virgate Wormwood Decoction (茵陳蒿湯 Yīn Chen Hāo tāng) its active component genipin green tea extract components, catechins, a modified formula Five Stranguries Powder (五淋散 Wǔ Lin Sǎn) plus Crataegi Fructus (山楂 Shān Zhā) bladder. The pathophysiologic molecular mechanisms ameliorating inflammatory diseases are discussed the review.
