摘要: China faces a major increase in cardiovascular disease, yet there is limited population-based data on risk factors, particularly children. Fasting blood samples, anthropometry and pressure were collected 9,244 children adults aged ≥7 years late 2009 as part of the national Health Nutrition Survey. Prevalent overweight, elevated pressure, cardiometabolic factors: glucose, HbA1c, triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high- low-density lipoprotein (HDL-C LDL-C), C-reactive protein (CRP) are presented. We found that 11% Chinese 30% overweight. Rates diabetes, dyslipidaemia, hypertension inflammation high increased with age associated urbanization. Approximately 42% have at least one following: pre-diabetes or hypertension, TC, LDL-C, TG, CRP low HDL-C, do 70% men 60% women 18-40 >90% ≥60 years. In sum, HbA1c findings suggest many 27.7 million 334 may be pre-diabetic diabetic. The prevalence less urban areas across all income levels suggests pervasive rural China.
