摘要: Abstract Aim To compare patterns of sleep and the presence disturbances in individuals at-risk mental states (ARMS) for psychosis bipolar disorder (BD) with a healthy control (HC) group. Methods This was comparative study involving 20 ARMS or BD, according to Comprehensive Assessment At-Risk Mental States, age- sex-matched controls. Quality previous month assessed using Pittsburgh Sleep Index, diurnal somnolence evaluated The Epworth Sleepiness Scale, chronotype determined Questionnaire Morningness/Eveningness (QME). All participants underwent polysomnography (PSG) during entire night two consecutive nights. first aimed adapt subject environment, only data from second were used analysis. Results Compared HC group, group reported significantly worse quality, as measured by Index. Both groups had scores consistent daytime sleepiness on there no differences regard between groups, predominance indifferent type both groups. In PSG assessment, we observed increased Latency (SL) Rapid Eye Movement Onset (REMOL) compared Conclusion results this indicated that abnormalities could be found early course diseases, even stages, support further investigation their predictive value transition BD.
