摘要: This case study describes a patient who developed peanut allergy following lung transplantation. A 54-year-old woman underwent bilateral transplantation on June 2009 owing to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. She had no history of food before The donor, however, was 20-year-old man fatally injured during an automobile accident; he allergic peanuts. At 3 months after transplantation, the recipient presented with acute dyspnea and urticaria 15 minutes consuming containing derivatives. Pre- posttransplantation blood samples analyzed for presence IgE antibodies specific allergens confirmed that been passively transfered as consequence Food solid organ is thought be rare, mostly occurring in children. Two mechanisms may explain observations described reported this study: de novo development allergies or passive transfer from peanut-sensitized donor. report documenting pre- status suggested donors should thoroughly assessed potential risks must discussed transplant team patient.
