摘要: BACKGROUND: The aim of the present study was to investigate expression profiles three endo-1,4-β-glucanase (EGase, EC 3.2.1.4) genes during aril breakdown longan fruit stored at room temperature (25 °C), low (10 °C) or on transferring 10 °C for 20 days 25 °C. RESULTS: Three full-length cDNAs, designated Dl-EGase1, Dl-EGase2 and Dl-EGase3, were isolated characterized. EGase activity in tissues increased with appearance symptoms, while RNA gel blot analysis revealed that accumulations Dl-EGase exhibited differential characteristics occurrence breakdown. may be involved later stage storage temperature. Conversely, Dl-EGase3 could mainly °C. In addition, Dl-Egase2 related transferred from temperature. CONCLUSION: results obtained this indicate are considerable variation exists between patterns individual members gene family. Copyright © 2009 Society Chemical Industry
