摘要: Partly depolymerized hemicelluloses isolated from wood chips of spruce and aspen employing microwave treatment were resolved using size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) into oligo- polysaccharide fractions containing components with a narrow range sizes, as determined by MALDI mass spectroscopy. The degree substitution acetyl moieties (DS) was also calculated on the basis MALDI-MS spectra obtained prior to following deacetylation. For hemicelluloses, low molecular fraction contained small arabino-4-O-methylglucuronoxylan oligosaccharides, DP values ranging 4 ~20, separated primarily their charge density. eluted last consisted an O-acetyl-(galacto)glucomannan peak-average value (DPp) 14. groups decreased decreasing DP, DS 0.39 being for DPp 12. SEC first acidic O-acetyl-4-O-methylglucuronoxylan 10 ~28 average ~0.75. oligosaccharide mixtures composed neutral O-acetyl-xylooligosaccharides (DPp 6, 0.41), together minor quantities O-acetyl-glucomannan.
