Sperm contains components which mammals are not immunologically tolerant and both male female can develop immunity Immune sperm have been considered be of interest for the following reasons: (1) immunization with shown decrease fertility animals, it has suggested that against antigens might used as a contraceptive measure; (2) pathological antisperm apparently contributes subfertility in some men women; (3) majority vasectomized males this deleterious effects on their health, or if they choose vasectomies reversed. In chapter, subject is reviewed relation these three topics emphasis recent developments. addition, factors contributing relative immunological unresponsiveness mammal shows antigenic challenge inseminated discussed, evidence insemination normally provokes limited cellular reviewed.
