摘要: Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women around world, and its incidence mortality rates are still rising. An increasing number of studies have reported that SOX18 plays an important role various cancers. However, breast remains poorly understood. In this study, we aimed to investigate biological potential molecular mechanism cancer. We found mRNA protein expression levels were prevalently significantly overexpressed human cell lines. Next, performed loss-of-function experiments by transfection two lines, BT-474 MCF-7, with small interfering RNAs (siRNA). Results showed siRNA suppressed cells. Furthermore, knockdown inhibited proliferation invasion, but promoted apoptosis Importantly, several oncogenic proteins, including Ras homolog gene family member A (RhoA), platelet-derived growth factor B (PDGFB), Insulin-like 1 receptor (IGF-1R), matrix metalloproteinase-7 (MMP-7), markedly decreased siRNA. Taken together, results our study suggest inhibits possibly downregulating downstream providing novel insights into development therapy through targeting SOX18.
