摘要: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignancies in world. Recent studies have demonstrated that SOX18 highly expressed various types cancer. In present study, we found mRNA was overexpressed HCC compared with non-tumorous tissues. We aimed to explore effects siRNA on proliferation, invasion and migration two cell lines, MHCC97H HepG2, which overexpress SOX18. significantly inhibited proliferation induced cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase. Results Transwell assay showed cells were markedly impaired SOX18-knockdown cells. Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) KEGG focal adhesion chemokine signaling pathways correlated expression. Furthermore, protein levels RhoA, PDGFB, IGF1R, CCL2, CCL3 CCL5 decreased Importantly, upregulation associated a poor outcome patients. These results indicate may serve as prognostic factor promising therapeutic strategy for HCC.
