摘要: We investigated the expression of small proteoglycans, decorin and biglycan, which are associated with osteoblast differentiation, how this relates to osteocalcin bone sialoprotein (BSP) early in formation rat mandible by immunohistochemistry situ hybridization. The mandibles fetuses were collected on embryonic days 14 (E14) E18. In hybridization showed that gene decorin, BSP was not apparent developing at E 14, but expressed newly differentiated osteoblasts E15. these mRNAs increased linearly as number specimens from E16 Immunohistochemistry biglycan moderately, weakly, faintly. unmineralized matrices among prominent staining for weak BSP, very biglycan. When intercellular matrix mineralized E16, more lacked same profile observed during subsequent phases E17 These results indicate protein level newlydifferentiated before onset mineralization they could play a role earliest stages formation. Negative proteoglycan suggests loss of, or sharp decrease proteoglycans occurs concomitant mineralization. (J. Oral Sci. 43, 179-188, 2001)
