摘要: Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase activity and cell surface markers were measured in peripheral lymphoid cells from 27 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia various phases of their disease. Lymphoblasts untreated patients had smooth ultrastructure but heterogeneous receptors. Greater than 60% lymphoblasts 4 7 formed rosettes sheep red blood cells. Transferase was variable, ranging 8 to 210 units/108 blasts, it consistently elevated at diagnosis relapse. levels did not correlate the presence lymphoblast During induction therapy decreased rapidly, remained even when blasts detectable smears. Patients remission normal receptors undetectable or minimally transferase. may be a sensitive biochemical marker for primitive population important evaluation therapeutic effectiveness leukemia.
