摘要: Abstract Heating costs in winter and cooling summer, nowadays, are very high these a can be reduced by the insulation of buildings. This study is related to development bio-based composites determination their thermal, mechanical acoustical properties. The were prepared using corn stalk particles as reinforcement components. An experimental design was established effect particle size epoxy/corn ratio on thermal properties prepared. Their performance characteristics compared with commercially available materials. shows that waste corn-on-the-cob used for epoxy resin prepare materials commercially. Natural products insulating value obtained provide alternative reduce import satisfy criteria Turkish Standard TS 805 EN 601. results this solve two industrial problems. One them providing new useful construction material other utilizing agricultural wastes harm environment.
