The relationship between the Hardiness Test and the Personal Orientation Inventory

摘要: Abstract The purpose of this study was to establish the construct validity Hardiness Test as a measure general mental health. Two scales Personal Orientation Inventory (POI), Time Competence and Inner Directedness, were compared overall score on well three subscales: commitment, control, challenge. A heterogeneous sample 42 women completed two tests anonymously. There significant positive relationship between hardiness subscale, challenge, with Competence, challenge contributing most relationship. Therefore, it may be concluded that both POI are measuring some similar aspects healthy personality.
