摘要: Abstract Due to their structural merits that arise from stability and high surface area, the layered double hydroxide (LDH) materials have caused strong attention. These characteristics provided intriguing possibilities with improved efficiency for catalytic applications. In this work, preparation of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium ([BMIM]+OH−) intercalated by a facile approach in matrix is reported its implementation as greener catalyst shown. Different physico-chemical techniques such XRD, FTIR, TGA, N2-physisorption, HRTEM, CO2 adsorption are implemented characterize structure fabricated catalysts. The [BMIM]+OH−/LDH exhibit outstanding performance Knoevenagel condensation, resulting LDH area synergistic effects between both ionic liquid LDHs matrix. Knoevenagel’s catalysts can be exploited catalyze different condensations reused well. This work therefore generates good opportunities field catalysis preparing LDH-based
