Lensectomy and vitrectomy for complicated cataract secondary to uveitis.

摘要: • Combined lensectomy-vitrectomy was performed on 13 patients (15 eyes) with complicated cataracts from uveitis. Preoperative visual acuities were 20/200 or less for at least one year. The postoperative follow-up period averaged 10.5 months of 20/25 better in eight eyes, 20/70 two and 20/100 to 20/400 five eyes. primary cause decreased vision postoperatively cystoid macular edema frequently associated optic disc edema.
