摘要: A targeted osmotic lysis (TOL) of tumor cells that over-express voltage-gated sodium channels (VGSCs) has been developed uses a combined therapy drug blocks sodium, potassium-adenosine triphosphatase (Na+, K+-ATPase) is then followed by an activation VGSCs, for example, electrical or pharmacological stimulation. Activation VGSCs conducts into the cancer in much greater amounts than non-cancer cells. Water follows this gradient cells, causing swelling and lysis. Because non-cancerous do not less water will enter lyse. This method applicable to all including, but limited to, highly invasive breast cancer, prostate small cell lung non-small carcinoma, lymphoma, mesothelioma, neuroblastoma, cervical cancer.
