Nuclear Spectroscopy of Neutron-Deficient Lu, Ta, and Re Isotopes

摘要: The systematic behavior of excited nuclear levels was studied with Lu (Z = 71), Ta 73), and Re 75) activities produced in the ORNL proton cyclotron. Conversion-electron data are presented for electron-capture decay Lu/sup 170.174m/, Ta/sup 173-178/, Re/sup 179.181/. Level schemes proposed based on these previously published up 173.175-179/, tulated. proper ties odd-A nuclei strongly deformed region odd-N numbers 95-107 discussed connection predictions Mottelson Nilsson.
