摘要: Baseline studies constitute, at the same time, base and reference point for development of site-specific monitoring programs. As a previous step in analysis structure benthic communities infralitoral off Aviles Gijon, multivariate techniques were used to assess agreement between distribution pattern samples, from both rocky soft bottom benthos, according their species or family compositions. Sampling was carried out summer 1992. Stations located on depth gradient basis (A: −1 m; B: −5 C: −15 D: −25 E: −35 F: −45 m) along eight transect lines. Abundance data replicate samples each station, aggregated levels, tested by three complementary measures community structure: clustering (CL), principal components analyses (PCA) multidimensional scaling (MDS) techniques. The main results obtained this study demonstrated adequacy family-based abundance carrying classification ordination ecosystems.
