摘要: In order to address the environmental impact produced for decades water bodies, authorities of major coastal municipalities and counties in North Spain (Gulf Biskay) initiated, during 90‘s, design construction new sanitation systems, according legal requirements imposed by 91/271/EC Directive. Site planning, risk assessment discharges objective-oriented monitoring were three main tasks supporting decision-making process related validation sewerage projects. This consists four consecutive stages: 1) Design selection alternatives (strategic assessment), 2) Risk evaluation different scenarios (impact 3) Verification adverse effects (objective-oriented monitoring) 4) Action plan mitigation registered impacts (management pollution events).
