摘要: Abstract Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the feasibility endovascular aortic aneurysm repair with use an aortouniiliac graft secured self-expanding (Gianturco) stents. Methods: Thirty patients a median age 72 years (age range, 52 86 years) and diameter 6.0 cm (range, 4.0 9.0 cm) were treated graft. Of these 30 procedures, 28 carried out electively two as emergencies for leaking aneurysm. patients, 21 (70%) considered be at high risk open surgery. A modified Gianturco stent, Dacron graft, Wallstent used procedures. Results: Endovascular successfully in 25 (83.3%) patients. All mobile had resumed normal diet within 48 hours procedure. overall 30-day mortality rate (6.6%), but it one (3.5%) elective cases; all deaths occurred group Other complications encountered days procedure included myocardial infarction patient, pneumonia homonymous quadrantanopia colonic ischemia giving morbidity four (13.3%). At follow-up 4 months 1 13 months), 27 (90%) remain alive well. Conclusion: abdominal stent is feasible both emergency situations. It appears minimally traumatic, majority deemed surgery can safely undergo repair. However, data on more longer required determine its role management (J Vasc Surg 1997;25:165-72.)
