摘要: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) are uncommon mesenchymal of the gastrointestinal tract. Up to one-third GISTs malignant with a high rate metastasis. Surgical resection is mainstay care for patients resectable disease. Imatinib mesylate, selective tyrosine kinase inhibitor, current standard that cannot be completely resected or in cases metastatic GIST.
