摘要: It is of prime importance for urban designers and planners to become aware the real ways in which people use physical environments so as avoid obvious design errors aim high quality that inhabit visit them. To inform making such designs plans, it seems logical advanced tracking technologies (ATTs) are currently developing rapidly. However, there several applicability problems hinder research an planning context-both general particular ones technologies. Applicability are, a large part, result how researchers formulate their questions fundamentally different than (or planners)-oriented towards analysis versus oriented synthesis. Thus, important element understanding potential domain way come light through epistemological 'framing' on activity mobility behaviour people. This article links frames held by experts using possible future scenarios within planning. The identified this suggest will remain highly problematic synthesis-oriented spatial scientists basis availability ATTs. terms sensitising behave environments, might be helpful-as description initial experimentation context demonstrate.
