摘要: Pre-drill estimates of formation pressures in a drilling location are made to help guide plans. These typically have large uncertainties. We present method that reduces the uncertainty ahead bit by making optimum use seismic data and new information obtained real time from well being drilled. During adjustments rock-physics transform based on Logging While Drilling (LWD) calibrating it local geology. In addition, we show velocity improved integrating while-drilling checkshot with surface data. Field study results Gulf Mexico this provides significantly better pressure estimate compared pre-drill predictions.
