摘要: Abstract Alcaligenes eutrophus NCIMB 11599 was cultivated to produce poly(3-hydroxybutyric-co-3-hydroxyvaleric acid), P(3HB-co-3HV), from glucose and propionic acid by a two-stage, fed-batch culture technique. The concentration of the broth controlled at 10–20 g l −1 using an on-line analyzer during whole period. Nitrogen limitation applied cell 60–70 , when feed replaced mixture acid. effect ratio (P/G ratio) in on copolymer production examined. final concentrations 117, 74, 64 polymer contents 74%, 57%, 56.5% dry weight, productivities 2.55, 1.67, 1.64 h were obtained P/G ratios 0.17, 0.35, 0.52 (mol mol glucose), respectively, showing reduced with increasing ratio. However, 3-hydroxyvaleric (3HV) fraction increased ratio, resulting 14.3 mol% 3HV ). maintained below 1.3 0.17 or 0.35 ), but gradually
