摘要: Abstract We report dynamic fracture energy measurements for E-glass/polyurea/steel joints at a peak strain rate of 1.2 × 10 7 s −1 . Experiments were done by initiating crack the steel/polyurea interface laser-generated stress wave, whose profile was recorded using optical interferometry. The critical release or delivered propagating wave to crack-tip region initiation computed dynamics simulation. An average value 359 (±19) J/m 2 obtained. effect moisture on values also examined. Results showed that reduced only 3% 349 ± 19 J/m in samples exposed 75% RH 65 °C 30 days. In addition data as local failure criterion large-scale simulation structural joints, it can be used estimate residual service.
