摘要: Recent efforts in brain tumor research have been directed towards the modulation of immune system for therapeutic interventions. Several human cancers, including gliomas, are infiltrated with cell types—including neutrophils and myeloid-derived suppressor cells—that contribute to progression, invasiveness, treatment resistance. The role tumor-associated cells cancer biology remains elusive, as these can exert a multitude pro-tumor antitumor effects. In this review, we provide current understanding novel insights on glioma progression resistance, well mechanisms pleiotropic behaviors during disease an emphasis possible strategies reprogram their actions.
