摘要: Dengue virus (DENV) is a leading cause of illness and death, mainly in the (sub)tropics, where it causes dengue fever and/or more serious diseases hemorrhagic shock syndrome that are associated with changes vascular permeability. Despite extensive research, pathogenesis DENV still poorly understood and, although endothelial cells represent primary fluid barrier blood vessels, extent to which these contribute pathology under debate. The target for dendritic monocytes/macrophages release various chemokines cytokines upon infection, can activate endothelium thought play major role DENV-induced However, recent studies indicate also replicates DENV-infected may directly viremia, immune activation, permeability targeting endothelium. Also, viral non-structural protein-1 antibodies directed against this secreted protein have been reported be involved cell dysfunction. This review provides an overview effects infection on physiology function.
